Listen to Susan Gibson play a Living Room Concert Fri., Mar. 7, 2014 at The Fibonacci at 7:30 p.m., in the High Plains Public Radio concert series.
This third visit of Gibson's will also serve as a CD release party for her new record "The Second Hand."
It was in college Gibson found her love of trees and open mics. Afterwards, she moved to Amarillo to join forces with the Groobees, who produced 3 albums. During that time, Gibson penned ‘Wide Open Spaces’ to the Dixie Chicks, a Grammy award-winning album.
After the Groobees broke up, Gibson produced 4 solo albums and traveled hundreds of thousands of miles. These days you’ll find Gibson on the road anywhere from Terlingua, Texas to New York City.
