October 12, 2013 (All day) to October 13, 2013 (All day)
The history of the Southern Plains is a mosaic. For thousands of years, across hundreds of generations, people have come to Lubbock Lake. Hunter-gatherers, from Clovis to Prohistoric age peoples, the Apache and Comanche nations, Buffalo soliders, cowboys, and the founding of a modern city are each a part of the history of this National Historic Landmark that is one of the premier archaeological and natural history sites in North America. Join us as we celebrate this history with demonstrations and hands-on activities for the whoel family.
Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13th.
