Horseback rides, hiking or biking on rugged trails, or trying your luck at a fishing hole are just some of the authentic Western heritage experiences at the Bar H Working Dude Ranch. Custom-made wagons provide comfortable tours of the ranch for guests who are not partial to a saddle.
Chuckwagon campfire dinners are served up outdoors; a climate-controlled bunkhouse is available during inclement weather.
Every May, the Bar H holds its Spring Cattle Roundup, and guests can spend five days and four nights camping out with the cowboys, working the calves, and experiencing part of the true cowboy heritage.
Western wildlife is also plentiful at the Bar H. From Lesser Prairie Chickens to bison to more than 60 species of birds, nature lovers can find plenty to see on this working ranch in the historic Texas Panhandle.
