
On Saturday, May 12, Floyd County Old Settlers will host their 89th Reunion. Classic cars and more will be on display and open to the public by Don & Carolyn Hardy. Friends of Library will be selling used books at bargain prices. Floyd County Hist. Museum will host a Quilt and Bonnet Show as well as a Flower Show. Awards to Pioneers from both Lockney and Floydada will be announced. Rope Making will be available at the Floyd County Hist. Museum. Free Entertainment will be under the Pavilion. Lunch will cost $6.00 (free for Floyd County Old Settlers) and will be catered by Danny's Fins & Hens from Lubbock. Afternoon will see a Arts & Crafts Auction and then a Parade with cash prizes. Floyd County 4-H Club will be selling tickets for Cow Pattie Bingo. Old Setters will be selling tickets for a Kenneth Wyatt Painting. The Third Annual Chili Cook-off will be held. Also, the Nifty-Fifty Auto Club will have their cars on display. Many vendors will have booths around the square with unique goods and great food.
