The rambling one-story Duggan House began life as one room and a lean-to. Arthur P. Duggan was the nephew (by marriage) of Major George W. Littlefield, and served as his land agent when Major Littlefield made the decision to colonize the area. Mr. Duggan moved the house from South Camp, about 20 miles southwest of Littlefield as a first home for his bride, Sarah Elizabeth Harral Duggan. The house currenly is home to items that interpret the history of this area, including a recreated radio studio filled with Waylon Jennings memorabilia; a giant map of the XIT Ranch lands; local school artifacts, and much more.
